Guerilla gardeners get back to work this Sunday when they return to the former Frank James Hospital in East Cowes.
Readers will remember that at the beginning of March, a group of concerned residents gathered to clear weeds and brambles at the disused Frank James Hospital in East Cowes.
Angry at the state it had been left to fall into, concerned residents decided it was time to take action and spent several hours clearing weeds and overgrowth from the grounds.
No April Fool
They intend to return on this Sunday morning and invite others with some spare time and the inclination to join them.
We’re not sure of the start time, but pop down at some point and we’re sure they’ll be pleased to see you. We understand there may be a TV crew filming there.
Hopefully the weather will be better than last time.
