If you follow our Twitter feed, you’ll have seen that heavy traffic has been reported between Fishbourne and the Isle of Wight festival site this afternoon (thanks to Shelley Peach for the regular updates).
Wightlink report that problems with mud in the parking areas on the Isle of Wight Festival site have caused heavy traffic congestion back to their Fishbourne port, meaning we are unable to discharge traffic into the port.
They say that they’ll be shipping customers as soon as possible and for passengers to bear with them whilst the Festival organisers make alternative arrangements. This will hopefully ease the congestion on the Island.
