Nettlecombe Farm in Whitwell is hosting a range of activities including everything from sport to simulations on Wednesday 25 July. There are two sessions with the first being held between 10am – 1pm and the second between 1.30pm and 4pm.

Football, sailing simulation and more

There will also be free face painting and balloon modelling with Crackers the Clown, and well known Isle of Wight magician David Randini will host a magic show.

Refreshments will be available including the opportunity to purchase hot or cold foods.

Register to take part
As spaces are limited, it is recommended anyone wishing to take part should register.

You can do this by logging on to http://shortbreakfunday.eventbrite.co.uk or by calling Lesley Forde at Family Information Zone (FIZ) on 01983 821999. You can also visit FIZ which is based next to Newport Bus Station.

‘Short breaks’ are designed to allow parents and carers of children and young people with special needs some time off from looking after them. This could be for only a few hours or up to a few days.
