Local charity Independent Arts is proud to announce the launch of The Anonthology, the first collection of work created by its Young Writers group.

The group, now known as The Anon Writers, started in February 2016 anonthology-book-cover-has given budding writers aged 16-25 the opportunity to gain advice, support and feedback on their work.

Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, the Young Writers sessions have covered a broad range of topics including flash fiction, micro fiction, writing poetry, starting a blog, performing your work, planning a novel, getting published and pitching to magazines.

Writers have been encouraged to contribute pieces to the Anon Writers blog throughout the project, and have also worked collaboratively to produce an anthology where they explore flash fiction, poetry, the future and pop culture.
