40th Anniversary of the Opening of Ventnor Botanic Garden

Take part in the 40th anniversary celebrations

Those working at and The Friends of the Ventnor Botanic Garden have lots to celebrate next month.

VBG:It was back on 21st June 1972 when Lord Mountbatten performed the Opening Ceremony and led a walk around the Garden.

Step forward 40 years and on 21st June 2012 an event organised by the new Community Interest Company, with help from the Friends will take place.

You can join them on the guided walk round the Garden, followed by canapes, Pimms and Birthday Cake.

The Shanklin Town Brass Band will be keeping the atmosphere jolly with their music and tickets for the event are just £10.

You need to book in advance but can pay on the evening. To book please call 855397 or email [email protected]
