5 Degrees North single launch: Up-and-coming band to host launch party at Strings for first single

5 Degrees North are a local, alternative, three-piece band that have been writing and performing together for just over a year now.

Later this month they will be releasing their debut single, Now I Know, which will be available across all streaming services.

Band members include Will Morrison on guitar and vocals, Michael Fuller on Bass and backing vocals and Louis (Linguini) Marshall on drums – all are just 16-years-old.

Not only was the single written and performed by them, it has been self funded. They all have part time jobs around college and performing, and have funded a professional photographer, the recording of the song and the artwork for the single.

5 Degrees North have already played live at several venues and festivals including Strings, The Attic Southampton, Warrior Festival and Rhythmtree Festival.

They have also had help from Platform One, who facilitated the recording at their studios.

Launch party
To celebrate the release of the single, there’ll be a launch party at Strings on 31st January (in association with Platform One), along with two other local bands Anatomy and Obscure Colours.

Tickets are only £2 each and they would love some local support.
