Isle of Wight band Kindred Found to launch debut album at Strings

Isle of Wight six-piece Kindred Found will celebrate the release of their debut album with a live show at Strings Bar and Venue in Newport on Wednesday 22nd April 2026.

The band play what they describe as dirty blues-infused country rock, and have already built a strong local following.

Award winners with chart success
Kindred Found won best rock and blues act at the 2026 Radio Wigwam awards, and have scored three number ones on Voice FM’s South Coast Chart Show.

A band of many talents
The lineup brings together Dave Eastman and Corrine Atkins sharing twin lead vocal and guitar duties, Dan Smith on lead guitar and vocals, Tom Daly on bass, Pete Ball on drums, and Mark Line covering harmonica, banjo and mandolin.

The band have already released debut EP Bones and follow-up single Should’a, both available on all major streaming platforms.

The Purple Emperors will support Kindred Found on the night.
