Fire engines

The Isle of Wight Fire service is attending a call at a site opposite Lynnbottom Tip.

The call came in at 8:09 and they initially sent one fire engine.

They discovered that there’s 600 Tonnes of wood waste smouldering at the site.

Since then, there’s been a request for a further fire engine and a separate water carrier, to provide water for the engines.

They’re up Coombley Lane.

I know i have been asleep for over an hour now,but when did Lynbottom tip move to Brightstone,golly it was quick!
