Kashmir Fringe Festival returns for a weekend of free music and community spirit

Last updated:

Don’t forget that the Kashmir Fringe Festival is back this weekend for another unmissable weekend of live music, community spirit, and great local ale.

On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February 2025, the Quay Arts Centre will come alive with two days of free music across three stages, showcasing a diverse lineup of artists.

Music lovers can enjoy an eclectic mix of genres, from folk and indie to rock and acoustic, all set in the vibrant atmosphere of one of the Isle of Wight’s most cherished cultural venues.

Three stages, endless talent
This year’s festival promises something for everyone.

The Cafe Stage will see performances from acts such as Doug Alldred and The Silver Lining, The Ohmz and Vote Pedro!

The Theatre Stage will feature high-energy sets from The Appalled, George Street Kids, 5 Degrees North and Dead Revival.

For those who prefer a more intimate setting, the Acoustic Stage in the Rope Store will highlight raw and stripped-back performances from artists like Amy Jolliffe, Steve Love and The Anywhens.

A weekend of local flavours
The festival isn’t just about the music.

Festival-goers can enjoy a selection of locally sourced ales on draught, including the much-loved cherry beer.

A specially curated Festival Favourites menu will be available, offering a variety of delicious food options to keep festival-goers fuelled across the weekend.

A community celebration
The Kashmir Fringe Festival fundraiser weekend celebrates independent artists and grassroots music, providing a platform for both emerging and established musicians.

With free entry for all, the event invites music fans of all ages to come together and experience the best of live performance in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Hosted by Bobbin Dixon
Adding to the excitement, the festival will be hosted by Bobbin Dixon, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the weekend’s proceedings.
