Keert partners with WightFibre to enhance e-cargo bike logistics on the Isle of Wight

Keert, the Island’s only e-cargo bike logistics provider, is proud to announce the success of its partnership with WightFibre, the Island’s full-fibre broadband provider, in transforming equipment delivery and collection services.

The collaboration began in early 2024 as a small-scale trial, collecting WightFibre equipment from customers moving house in Cowes. Over the course of the year, the partnership expanded to cover the entire Isle of Wight.

By early 2025, Keert is not only collecting equipment Island-wide but also delivering customised devices that do not require technician installation. Each piece of equipment is pre-configured at WightFibre HQ before Keert collects and delivers it directly to the customer, ensuring a seamless experience.

A shared commitment to excellence and sustainability
Keert and WightFibre share a commitment to quality service and environmental responsibility. WightFibre’s tagline, “Because We Care,” is reflected in their dedication to supporting local businesses like Keert, which aligns perfectly with Keert’s core value of caring.

Matthew Whittakar, director of Keert, said,

“It’s great that WightFibre supports local services and recognises the benefit we bring both financially and in helping them meet their corporate responsibility targets.”

Industry-leading efficiency and environmental impact
John Irvine, CEO of WightFibre, praised the partnership, stating,

“WightFibre is delighted with our partnership with Keert for delivery and collection logistics on the Isle of Wight.

“This partnership has freed our own staff from routine tasks, streamlined operations, and enhanced service efficiency. Keert’s professionalism and reliability have exceeded our expectations.

“Together, we are reducing vehicle journeys and CO2 emissions, making the Island a better and more sustainable place. We highly recommend Keert to any business seeking a dependable green logistics partner.”

This partnership represents a major step forward in reducing vehicle emissions and supporting local green initiatives while ensuring a high standard of service for WightFibre’s customers.
