Edana’s journey
Edana is from a phenomenally talented and creative Anglo-Italian family. An encounter with jazz trumpeter Guy Barker, who worked with her brother Anthony on The Talented Mr Ripley, inspired Edana to embark upon a journey as a jazz performer – she hasn’t looked back.
Edana’s new album, Still On My Feet, was produced by world renowned jazz sensation Liane Carroll, who also sings backing vocals, and features musicians Guy Barker, Guillermo Rozenthuler & James McMillan. Still On My Feet establishes Edana as a bright new voice on the jazz scene.
Her band features Mick Smith – piano, Pete Maxfield – double bass, Ken Black – drums and Sarah Bolter – saxophone.
