Ofsted warned the Studio School could impact pupil numbers at Cowes Enterprise College (which lost pupils to the school), but Cllr Brading says the latest decision by CEC's sponsor was made before proposals to close the Studio School surfaced.
As many had feared, last night's meeting at Cowes Enterprise College, about the school, was judged to have left much of the audience unenlightened by the meandering debate.
Cowes Enterprise College scored 0.17 which means that each student achieves on average a fifth a GCSE grade better per subject than similar students nationally.
The school has been presented with the prestigious ‘Quality in Careers Standards’ award - in recognition of wide range of career programmes and support offered to students
