Police find no evidence or remains at the property searched in Gurnard. Two people from Cowes are still being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Damien Nettles went missing at the age of 16 in mysterious circumstances on 2 November 1996. He has never been found.
The Nettles family have had the continued support of thousands of Islanders in their search for Damien. Campaigns for information leading to his remains take place as each year passes.
Rewards of £20,000 by the Police and £10,000 from a local businessman have sadly led nowhere in providing closure for Damien’s family.
