The Staley family agree for the crashed car their daughter lost her life in to go on display around the Isle of Wight and Hampshire as a warning to drink drivers.
Ten year old Evey tragically died after her family’s car was hit by a driver who was two-and-a-half times over the drink/drive limit and had been smoking cannabis. Her story will be explored through a series of videos released by the police over the next few weeks.
Robert Blakely was today sentenced to ten years after pleading guilty to causing the death of Evey Staley whilst driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police hope that the driver of a Red Ford Fiesta may be able to help in relation to Friday's fatal collision. Police stress they do not believe the driver is any way involved with the collision.
