Councillor Geoff Brodie has served as a councillor at the Isle of Wight council for many years.
He has gained a reputation for challenging those who have been in the ruling party of the council.
Councillor Brodie changed his surname from Lumley to Brodie in May 2017.
Councillor Brodie was elected to the Pan and Barton ward in the May 2021 Isle of Wight council elections and became part of the Alliance Group, who took power at County Hall – leaving them within a matter of months.
