Two Island Line users have submitted a 'Letter before Claim' to the Department for Transport and questions whether the DfT proposals for Island Line could amount to the thin edge of the wedge.
Island Line Trains are the Isle of Wight’s only commercial rail provider.
The service runs from Ryde Pier head in the north of the Island, to Shanklin towards the south.
It’s a vital lifeline, providing a swift connection to means to exit to the Mainland, via the FastCat or Hover.
