Next week teachers, parents, school support staff and children are invited to come together at the end of the school day outside the main gates of their school and link arms as part of a national campaign.
Hundreds of teachers, head teachers, school staff and parents travelled to the Houses of Parliament from all over the country (including the Isle of Wight) to lobby MPs about school funding.
The Isle of Wight's Save our Schools Campaign had a welcome boost last week when CBeebies presenter, Cerrie Burnell, visited the Island to read a children's book created to raise funds for the campaign.
