Ed Blake wins Ventnor council seat, pledging revival and economic support for town
Richard Quigley was announced as the Labour Party’s Isle of Wight prospective parliamentary candidate in the 2019 General Election.
Richard moved to the Island in 2003 and runs a successful business in Cowes, where he lives with his wife and two children.
He’s a former governor at Northwood primary school, a trustee for Isle of Wight Foodbank, a trustee of the Footprint Trust and previously a trustee of North Medina Community Trust.
He gained 18,078 votes in the 2019 General Election, increasing the Labour Party vote by 957, with 24.54 percent of the vote.
In July 2024, he was elected as MP for new constituency Isle of Wight West.
