UKSA, previously the UK Sailing Academy, is a charity based in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.
Today UKSA’s charitable work is split into four areas:
Their patron is HRH The Princess Royal. Dame Ellen MacArthur; Shirley Robertson OBE and Hilary Lister are all Ambassadors for the charity.

Word reached OnTheWight yesterday that Richard Thornton was leaving UKSA. They've now confirmed to us he'll be leaving for the New Year.
