UKSA, previously the UK Sailing Academy, is a charity based in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.
Today UKSA’s charitable work is split into four areas:
- – Training for maritime employment
- – Non-standard education for school age children
- – Building essential life and work skills
- – Adventure and personal challenge
Their patron is HRH The Princess Royal. Dame Ellen MacArthur; Shirley Robertson OBE and Hilary Lister are all Ambassadors for the charity.
