To help with any bids for grants to help build a concrete skatepark, Ventnor Skatepark are going to apply for charitable status. For that, they need members. You don't have to live in Ventnor to join.
There are just four days left to bid for your favourite items in the Ventnor Skatepark Big Art Auction. There are loads of items still at £5, so get bidding and make sure you bag your chosen pieces.
The Big Art Auction closes at midnight tonight (Saturday). Make sure you place your bids before then in order to grab a fantastic piece of artwork at the same time as helping raise money for an innovative new concrete skatepark for Ventnor.
If you won a bid, you need to pay asap or your artwork will be put back up for sale. Wight Trash are happy to store your item, but you need to pay (through the BAA Website) by the end of Saturday.
The first two Big Art Auctions were really successful and a great way to raise funds and awareness for the campaign, so we expect the third to be just as good. Artists are invited to donate works of art.
Ventnor Skatepark's £50,000 fundraising campaign continues with the second Big Art Auction taking place in less than a month. If you're an artist please consider donating a piece of work to this brilliant local project.
