This year could be the one that sees a permanent concrete skatepark built on Ventnor's seafront. Who knows, with skateboarding now added to the 2020 Olympics, an Isle of Wight concrete skatepark could be the making of future Olympians.
To help with any bids for grants to help build a concrete skatepark, Ventnor Skatepark are going to apply for charitable status. For that, they need members. You don't have to live in Ventnor to join.
There's a huge variety of artwork in the third Big Art Auction. You have until 2nd December to get your bids in online. Perfect timing for Christmas shopping.
There are just four days left to bid for your favourite items in the Ventnor Skatepark Big Art Auction. There are loads of items still at £5, so get bidding and make sure you bag your chosen pieces.
The Big Art Auction closes at midnight tonight (Saturday). Make sure you place your bids before then in order to grab a fantastic piece of artwork at the same time as helping raise money for an innovative new concrete skatepark for Ventnor.
If you won a bid, you need to pay asap or your artwork will be put back up for sale. Wight Trash are happy to store your item, but you need to pay (through the BAA Website) by the end of Saturday.
