All those familiar with St Catherine’s will what great work the national charity for children and young people with speech, language and communication impairments does.
Once again this June, they’ll be holding their popular Summer Fair – hosted by the children, young people and staff team – and invite all members of the public along to help make a success of the event.
As always, the programme is bursting with lots of exciting activities for young and old to take part in.
There are plenty of opportunities to help the charity raise funds at the stalls offering plants, giftware, jewellery, refreshments and the children’s’ art and craftwork.
Kim Fry, Community Fundraiser, said “The Summer Fair is truly is a team effort. As well as an enjoyable day, it provides our learners the opportunity to gain confidence in speaking with people they do not necessarily know and as such is an important aspect of their social interaction development.”
