Ventnor Library

An ‘Evening of joy’ at Ventnor Library tonight

If you are not doing anything tonight do come to the “Evening of joy” celebrations at Ventnor Library (from 7.30) by Random Creatives who meet in some form or other at Ventnor Library, throughout the year.

I came in this morning intrigued as to what I was going to find, as they wanted to “get on with decorating the Library” – within strict guidelines as to ladders, etc. while we were closed yesterday. I am truly gobsmacked! Not only are they decorating with the midwinter/solstice theme, but they are celebrating “the book”!

However if the decorations are anything to go by, it will be an amazing evening – adults only!

There will be a “midwinter market” as well as music, dance, poetry, laughter, Father Yule and of course, not forgetting all that magic!

The event is free but you might like to make a donation which will go towards the Friends of Ventnor Library fund for refurbishing the Children’s Library.

I do hope you can come – it is going to be enchanting …
