Thanks to Vivian for sharing details of this upcoming fundraising event. Ed
At least nine gardens in Arreton will be open on Sunday, 23rd June to raise money for Relate and Scouts on the Island.
There will be plant sales, a garden railway, cream teas, free parking signed in the village and water gardens.
Large and small gardens
Arreton Manor, Haseley Manor and The Old Vicarage are large gardens no longer normally open to the public, and there are other delightful smaller gardens.
The No 8 bus stops at 3 places in the village.
£3.50 includes all gardens and children in education are free.
Pick up a programme at any of the venues or the village shop when open.
Plans for the proceeds
The Relate is a couple counselling charity and helps couples to stay together or part amicably depending on what the couple wants.
This is of huge benefit to the children, education, health and housing.
The Scouts are raising money to rebuild the Corf Scout Camp.
Do come along and enjoy the fun.
