Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Donna Jones has recalled "the humbling moments when she met Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II"
The Police and Crime Commissioner says, "when incidents on social media receive not one but two visits from police officers, but burglaries and non-domestic break-ins don’t always get a police response, something is wrong"
Donna Jones says “Letting the cameras into the courtroom to film the sentencings of some of the country’s most serious offenders will allow the public to see justice first hand, as it happens"
It has been announced that victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will be given additional resources due to a successful bid to the Ministry of Justice
Donna Jones says, "It is vital that we engage with young people as soon as we identify them as being vulnerable or at risk, and that support is available at key points"
