This month has seen Nick pick up Isle of Wight Sports Award for a brilliant year’s performance and he was thrilled to pick up this award as a first year senior too.
Shortly afterwards, Nick then flew off to Portugal for a little warm-weather training with his coach and fellow team members.
The European Throws competition
During this time, he was also selected to represent GB at The European Throws competition in Leiria Portugal.
His first time as a senior, and he finished a creditable eighth, even though he wanted better.
Preparing for exams
Back home continuing his training, however, now its time to prepare for his final exams.
He has selected his University, but we are unable to say until they have officially announced it.
Now off to San Diego for a month of training and a competition.
