As readers will know, here at VentnorBlog Towers we’re big fans of local band, Bastila, so were chuffed to hear about their progress and since signing to Rob Da Bank’s record label, Sunday Best. Ed
As you are probably all aware in the last year we have signed to the record label Sunday Best headed by Radio 1 DJ and Bestival curator Rob Da Bank.
Over the summer we have been concentrating on recording our album and singles which will be released nationwide on an undisclosed date in the new year.
The recording process, which is taking place in Oxford, is going well and it has been pretty exciting for us to hear the songs which we have been writing and playing for the past four years grow as each layer is recorded.
Our trips to Oxford have also allowed us to fully submerge ourselves in the band as opposed to previous demo recording attempts at home which have been wedged in around part time jobs and other commitments.
In order to enable us to keep you updated with news of the band such as upcoming gigs, the recording of our album and releases of our singles and album we have recently made a mailing list.
