Bestival-Goer Fatality Named

Police have today officially released the name of the Bestival-goer who tragically died in a road traffic collision at the weekend.

The family of Henry Martin Minns, aged 19, of Penryn, Cornwall, travelled to the Island yesterday to identify his body and the inquest was opened and adjourned at Newport Coroner’s Court earlier today.

Our sincere condolences go out to Henry’s family and friends.

Appeal for information
Police are still appealing to anyone who may have about the circumstances surrounding the collision is asked to contact the Road Deaths Investigation Team at Shanklin police station.
