BID LIVE initiative aims to give Isle of Wight tourism businesses a stronger voice

Visit Isle of Wight has announced a new programme of stakeholder engagement with tourism businesses across the Island, marking the launch of BID LIVE, a more connected and continuous approach to industry engagement.

Open floor sessions throughout April and May
The initiative begins with a series of BID LIVE: Open Floor Sessions, taking place throughout April and May, led by Chief Executive Dominic Wray alongside members of the organisation’s Board and team members.

Moving beyond one-off meetings
Designed to move beyond traditional one-off meetings, BID LIVE will bring together sessions, communications and digital updates into a single, ongoing feedback loop, ensuring that businesses can both contribute to, and stay informed about the future direction of tourism on the Island.

Dominic Wray, Chief Executive of Visit Isle of Wight, said:

“This is about creating a more open and ongoing conversation with our businesses.

“It’s important that BID levy payers can see how their feedback is shaping what we do, not just in the moment, but over time.”

What businesses can expect
As part of BID LIVE, additional engagement tools will be introduced, including advance question submission, and the publication of key questions, answers and actions following each session via Visit Wight Pro.

The programme reflects a renewed focus on transparency, collaboration and ongoing dialogue with the Island’s tourism sector.

Get involved
Businesses are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled sessions and take part in shaping what comes next.
