After being amazed by the Kathakali performance on Friday 16th October, you might want to take part in the workshops the following day.
On Saturday 17 October from 10am, the first of two Kathakali workshops takes place.
The first Kathakali Workshop which lasts just over an hour will be a dance/drama session with Kalamandalam Vijayakumar.
If you fancy trying it out make sure you wear loose clothes, bare feet or soft (dance) shoes.
The second Kathakali Workshop runs from 11.30am and is a creative crafts colour workshop to create body sculpture with Kalamandalam Barbara Vijayakumar.
Both Kathakali workshops suitable for adults and young people over 13 yrs.
Cost is just £4/£2 per session or £6/£3 for both.
These are expected to be busy, so booking is essential. Given The Carnival Learning Centre a call on 817288 for more information.
