Rectory Lane in Niton was once again flooded following heavy rain this week, and with the forecast of more heading this way on Sunday, villagers are keeping their fingers crossed.
Jon Boileau Goad got in touch with the photo above saying,
“This is very much the norm as the main drains in the village are incapable of taking the load due to numerous blockages and a lack of maintenance.”
He went on to add,
“The high street is still covered in a layer of slippery mud on the pavements, but nothing seems to get done.”
Looks like little Ollie probably needed a bath after his paddle through the rather large puddle.
