Book now for Barton Manor’s Ukrainian fundraiser in partnership with Medina Books

Dawn and Alex Haig-Thomas invite you to join them at Barton Manor from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday 30th April for drinks and canapes raising funds for the MAD-Aid Charity supporting Ukrainian refugees.

Canapes with a Ukrainian twist will be served by the highly acclaimed team at ‘All About Catering’ and guests will be treated to a piano performance by acclaimed Island Pianist, Tom Nuckley.

Humanitarian aid in Moldova and Ukraine
This is a fundraising event for MAD-Aid, an Isle of Wight based charity which is delivering aid to Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.

MAD-Aid founder, Victoria Dunford, who is currently over in Moldova coordinating the aid, will give a talk during the evening.

Talk by author and historian
Author and historian Stephan Roman will offer insights into the current crisis and reflect on the plight of his own grandparents who 100 years to the day of our event were refugees fleeing Ukraine across the Dniester River into Moldova.

Limited tickets
Held in association with Medina Bookshop, Cowes to raise funds for MAD-Aid, tickets for this special event are limited and cost £25 per person from Medina Bookshop, Cowes (01983) 300044 and via the Website.
