Officers investigating two burglaries in Cowes have charged a man.
Police were called at 7.39am on Friday 15 September with reports that two houses had been burgled overnight in Castle Road.
During one of the incidents, it’s alleged that the homeowner confronted a man in her home, prompting the man to leave.
A 25-year-old from Sway, has been charged with two counts of burglary and one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 18 September).
