Award winning, local Isle of Wight GP agrees to pipe in the haggis to support Quay Arts on Burns Night.
Dr Kieron Cooney is a practising Isle of Wight GP and award winning solo piper, with over 40 years experience.
In full highland regalia he stands as imposing 7ft 6ins, the tallest piper in England.
A gold medal winner, he will be piping in the haggis and play traditional Scottish music.
All donations on the night will go to the Steve Ross Foundation for the Arts, Charity no. 272007 which supports all Quay Arts activities.
His piping achievements include:
World amateur piping champion 2008 (Glasgow).
Guest appearance performing with the H.M. Band of the Royal Marines and the Isle of Wight Youth Concert Band.
Honorary piper for the Calendonian Society and the British Legion.
