Following the resignation of Bill Wyatt-Millington last week, a by-election for the county councillor vacancy he leaves behind has been called.
The position covers the Chale, Niton and Whitwell electoral division.
If you fancy yourself as a county councillor serving the needs of those in Chale, Niton and Whitwell then you have until noon on Friday 15th October 2010 to get your nomination in.
Assuming they have people step forward to stand, the ballot boxes will be coming to a polling station near you on Thursday 11th November 2010.

The deadline for new electors to register or for existing electors to apply for a postal vote is Wednesday 27th October 2010.
