Public welcome to tonight’s Cabinet meeting

Members of the Isle of Wight council Cabinet face one of their shortest agendas yet tonight (Tuesday).

Readers will remember the last couple of months have seen two Cabinet meetings each month, all with full and very long agendas.

On the agenda
Tomorrow, members will be considering the quarterly performance and finance report, Harbour Authorities activity Annual report, the possible use of the former Classic Boat Museum and version three of the Forward Plan for October 2013 to January 2014. Papers for all items are embedded below for your convenience.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and ask questions at the beginning. The meeting starts at 6.30pm sharp at County Hall, Newport.

Capital disposals
One hour prior to the full Cabinet meeting, at 5.30pm, members of the Property Disposal and Capital Programme Sub Committee will meet to discuss and consider (Cllrs Gilbey, Jordan, Kendall and Stubbings) three items for possible disposal.

  • Agreement to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice Being Treated as a Special Purchaser of Oak House, Halberry Lane, Newport
  • Proposed Sale of Former Shorwell Youth Centre, Fine Lane, Shorwell
  • The Possible Disposal of the Former Niton Youth Centre
