After missing a session in December, Cafe Scientifique returns tonight.
Taking place from 7pm at The Fighting Cocks pub, tonight’s speaker is Dr Simon Boxall from the National Oceanography Centre at Southampton University. He’ll will be talking about the ‘Changing Arctic Climate’.
Simon has spent some time studying the glaciers of eastern Greenland and has a good knowledge of ocean currents and other factors involved in climate change.
Cafe Scientifique evenings are free, but it is customary to ask participants at the end of the evening for a donation towards the cost of the speaker’s meal and/or travel expenses.
