If you’re an Island artist looking to get some global exposure, or if you’re an art lover looking to discover work, a new Website set up by Isle of Wight based contemporary artist and photographer should be of interest.
Gallery owner, Syd Woom, has over the last two years, been busy bookmarking the sites of artists from around the world that have impressed him. From this he has created a stonking new Website called artholes.com.
Syd told VB that the ambition of the project is to inspire the visitor and promote the artist and in our view, he’s certainly achieving that.
He’s kept the layout of the site, which some might find unconventional, clean and fresh, with the attention focused on the work being displayed, rather than the site itself.
Not only that but he’s set the site up so that you can easily share pages that you like with your Facebook friends and has also integrated tumblr.
See your work on artholes.com
Syd is keen to integrate work by Island contemporary artists and has asked for VB’s help is putting a shout out through our network.
If you have something that you’d like to submit, get in touch with Syd by emailing him on artholes[at]woom[dot]co[dot]uk with a link to your website or online portfolio.
