Calls for urgent action from council after more break-ins at Frank James

Friend of Frank James, Tanja Rebel has been in touch with more worrying news.

She tells OnTheWight there have been two more break-ins at the former hospital in East Cowes, with yet more damage inflicted upon the historic building.

One of the break-ins was as recent as two nights ago.

Tanja says,

“What’s more, part of the fencing to the adjacent former Health Centre has also come down and now provides an easy entry into Frank James.

“It is truly scandalous to have two derelict buildings standing next to each other without proper securing and the Friends ask the Isle of Wight Council to ensure that both buildings are secured as soon as possible.

“Things are truly urgent now!”

Next gathering
The next gathering for Friends and supporters wil be Sunday 9 November between 1-4pm. All those willing to help clear the ground and secure the building are very welcome.
