Similarities between one of Ventnor’s best exports, The Bees and Chas’n’Dave continue to be discovered.
It’s well known that Paul and Fletch recorded and produced their first album ‘Sunshine Hit Me’, in their shed studio.
Having seen that Chas ‘n’ Dave also rehearsed and recorded in a studio shed, we wonder whether their debut album ‘One Fing ‘n’ Anuvver’ was also recorded and produced in there.
What with Chas ‘n’ Dave’s influence on The Bee’s superb knee slapper, End of the Street and the lads love of facial hair, do you think we’re onto something here? ;-)
We will be interviewing Chas tomorrow when he comes to Ventnor for what promises to be a great gig at The Ventnor Winter Gardens.
