A quick note for all those living in the Ventnor area.
We hear from the Ventnor Towers Hotel that Chinese lanterns will be set off from the grounds next Saturday (19th) June at around 10.30pm.
So, if you happen to notice a succession of orange lights floating through the air, think twice before calling the coastguard (believing they’re flares) or the Ministry of Defence (thinking they’re UFOs)
