No sooner has the word been spread about one of the nicest Christmas celebrations in Sandown Bay, then it’s all change!
All of us volunteering at The Common Space have made the difficult decision to cancel The Christmas Garden on Sunday. As we all know, the risk of Covid is on the up, so we are postponing until 2022 when we hope that the coast will be clear-er.
Sorry to disappoint everyone
We are so very sorry to disappoint everyone who was hoping to come along and a very big thanks to everyone who was sharing the information on the event.
It’s not only about our concerns for the safety of those attending, but also for those helping to run the event. Inevitably the spread of Covid has also made it difficult for us organisers to pull together a full team too and to safely open the indoor spaces at the Battery.
A very Happy and Healthy Christmas and New Year
Please do make the most of the beautiful Battery and Gardens and those Bay views over the holidays.
