Cliff death woman dedicated her life to the welfare of others

Police have issued a tribute statement from the family of Angela Slater, the 48 woman from Poole, who died tragically last week after her car went over the cliff near Compton Bay.

The Slater family said: “Angela was a beautiful, intelligent, warm, loving person who dedicated her life to the welfare of others, and whose energy and enthusiasm warmed the lives of everyone she touched.

“Her family are deeply shocked and saddened that she left the world in this way. At this time they would like the privacy to mourn together, and will not be issuing any further statements or photographs.”

The inquest was opened yesterday (Monday) into the death of Angela Slater.

Our thoughts are with Ms Slater’s friends and family at this difficult time.
