Isle of Wight fire service has been fighting a serious fire on the North Fairlee Road since early this morning.
They received a call at 5:15am of coaches on fire.
Two coaches were on fire and this spread to an adjacent building which housed the office and workshop.
Fire officers are still at the scene. It’s understood that there’s some traffic disruption.
Six pumps
In total six fire engines have been in attendance 2 Newport; 1 Cowes; 1 East Cowes; 1 Ryde and 1 Shanklin. The fire command unit is there too.
A fire engine from Bembridge has been brought in to cover Newport.
An investigation unit will be there later today.
