On Friday 5th May Lanesend Primary School celebrated the King’s Coronation with our ‘Festival in the Field’ event for our children, families and community.
The afternoon was a fun packed day with bouncy castles, live music from Chris Quinton, Coronation performances from our children, face painting, cream teas, picnics, craft stations, ice cream, games and much more.
We had a Festival Finale at the end with red, white and blue Holi Powder for a fun and colourful end to our event. We had a drone from Media House Productions which captured a special message made by the children.
A huge thank you to all of our children and families, Team Lanesend, Chris Quinton and band, Media House Productions, Bouncy Castles Isle of Wight and Bookers.
