Another week flys by (and the red arrows) and our gardens finally got a watering. Walking through the botanics last week, we had a little laugh to ourselves when we heard some school children squeal with delight at the “green grass”.
More rain would be welcome, but wouldn’t it be great if it could happen when we were all tucked up in bed?
Anyway, coming up this week on the blog will be …. at last (so you can all stop badgering me now), the full music lineup for the V.Fest; Geri from the Jazz Office has sent through a ton of info on forthcoming Jazz events; we’ve more Bestival news (although I’m not going near the clown issue – the only scary clown in my eyes is Ronald McDonald) and later in the week, I’ll be introducing you to a great new writer I met through MySpace (that I didn’t get around to doing last week).
A couple of invites …. if anyone took shots of the Ryde Carnival and want to share them, why not join the Isle of Wight Flickr group or if you have any Ventnor shots, join the VentnorBlog Flickr Group?
And if you’ve got something to say about anything going on in Ventnor, feel free to voice your opinions over on the forum. There have been some discussions on the proposals for Undercliff Drive and I’m keen to hear both sides of the story, is the village really divided over this issue, or is it just the process they’re objecting to?
