The Ryde Neighbourhood Board (RNB) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members, following a recent round of recruitment interviews.
These new additions bring valuable expertise and fresh perspectives to the Board as it continues its work to support and represent the Ryde community.
We warmly welcome Richard May, Michele Legg and David Langdon who have been selected to represent the Education, Health and Development sectors.
Their contributions will be instrumental as Ryde moves into a new phase of local regeneration and community-led development.
£20 million of investment over the next 10 years
Ryde is set to benefit from £20 million of investment over the next ten years through the Government’s Plan for Neighbourhoods programme—an initiative that replaces the previous Town Deal model and places greater emphasis on local voices and neighbourhood-level priorities.
To ensure this funding is directed where it’s needed most, the Ryde Neighbourhood Board is continuing its community consultation, building on the work carried out last year but acknowledging the need for fresh input to reflect the updated funding prospectus and evolving local priorities.
We’re inviting residents, businesses, and community groups to take part in a short online survey to share their views.
