It was with quite some excitement that we saw that the shop at the corner of Pier Street and Church Street, by the traffic lights, had it’s windows cleared.
It’s been sitting with white washed windows for over a year, really not adding to the area, so to see people in there making a change is most welcome from the people we spoke to about it.
It’s been owned by Island estate agents Pittis, who were originally planning to open a branch there, but have promptly done nothing of the sort.
It’s one of the entrances to Ventnor, so let’s hope it used for something decent.
