The second stage of the year-long exciting new national BoatLife Fishing Championship will be held at Cowes over the weekend of 13th and 14th July 2024.
Shore-based action
The weekend event will see plenty of shore-based action and fun experiences for visitors of all ages, rounded off with a prize giving ceremony and celebratory party of music and entertainment for competitors and the whole community.
Sustainable fishing practices and marine conservation
Throughout the year, the BoatLife Fishing Championship is also casting a spotlight on sustainable fishing practices and marine conservation.
Pro-teams will be taking their championship boats for youngsters to explore at Isle of Wight schools ahead of the weekend and to enjoy fun talks on recreational angling and marine welfare initiatives.
Taking part
Competitors will include professional teams vying for the prestigious Pro-Team Cup, sponsored by industry giants committed to marine conservation, as well as passionate Privateer anglers competing against each other for the coveted Privateer Cup and a host of fantastic prizes.

The four-stage Championship competition is taking place across the UK, with Stage 3 in Plymouth and the final stage in Guernsey in November.
The UK champion will be crowned at BoatLife in February 2025.
